Hello, I'm Ayfer and last year I was selected to be the Labour party spokesperson for Hemel Hempstead.

To give you an idea of my background, I currently work with children with learning and physical difficulties for the Learning and Skills Council which I find a very rewarding profession.

I started professional life as a graphic designer having graduated with a degree in graphic design, and subsequently worked successfully as a director of a multinational business during the 1990s.

I'm 47 years old and have two children. I live in Enfield where I am a local councillor.
